My roomie went to school with nuns ( he hates catholicism afterwards too go figure) but one of his professors LITERALLY wanted to have sex with Jesus in the afterlifehence why she was saving herself.

And thenn you get some who say they're married like Brother Micah, and then 5 seconds later you see him ordering his wife around more like an  item than a wife.

Then you ask why he treats her like that, and they say that women are inferior. Nice job Catholocism.

I always think if Jesus as some guy in some disco club for some reason. *shrugs*

Cause they try really hard now, like too much. When they used to write stuff I'm sure they were all chill and shit. Now, they have to scrounge out episodes.

The newer Simpsons episodes are actually better than the Family Guy ones.

More recent Family Guy episodes suck because there's no plot anymore. It's just a string of events that are “wacky” and generally unfunny. More recent ones haven't even really been telling jokes and have just basically been trying to get an outraged reaction from people. That and it's nothing but pop culture references. A parody is not referring to a piece, but actually taking it and doing something entertaining with it.

That whole part with them “beating” the one guy, using their fists and bats, and the things it implied were just offensive. I was talking to Rik at the time and that's basically when we both became pretty repulsed by it.

I thought the rest of the scene with him getting genes injected was funny though, namely the Seth Rogen gene. The rest of the episode was awful though.

I think the good writers might have just left the show for something better. Different producer and different director of animation. I liked the show under Derek Drymon a lot more than Tibbitt, who is the current guy.

The voice cast is excellent as ever, unfortunately their talent is squandered under the bad scripts.
