I still remember my party with FUCK YEAH the Seaking. That was awesome; he got me through the Elite Four.

So like I beat the Elite Four, and I have to say I've never had an easier time with it. Kinda pathetic really.

I didn't even use Bonernator once. Nobody died, I must've used maybe 2 hyper potions in total.

It was embarassing. When it came to the Dragonites I just Blizzarded them in 1 hit with Blastoise. Fuck I took Moltres as my Fire Pokemon because Pidgeot was so inferior to the rest of my team stats-wise and I didn't use that either.

I coulda walked in with only CptPwnface, Diabeetis, Pikajew, and The Chuck and been totally fine. It makes me sad I didn't use my Dragonite at all, seeing as I coulda spent all that xp making my other party members stronger and perhaps a Ninetales or something for solid fire type.

Hell I coulda replaced Diabeetis with a Hypno just for a few more points stats wise because I'm not getting an Alakazam on an emulator :O

All in all it was a downer to see my childhood challenges crash and burn. My guys were only 50, with the exception of my 55 Dragonite.

Like Kabutops is teh suck to be honest. In comparison to Omastar's totally pwn special attack and defense its pretty shitty.

I had Hitmonlee bro. Its basically an alakazam but of the physical attacking kind. And with a name like The Chuck, it goes to figure seeing as all it does is kick

If I did take Charizard i'd have him, Omastar, Raichu, Kadabra, Dragonite, and then a bird of some sort. Most likely a legendary for the stats, probably Articuno just in case Omastar has trouble, which it wont but hey

Maybe next time I play I'll carry a pidgey around and not train it and see how far my team gets. After all itd just be replaced anyhow

Stats don't lie bro Kabutops is too balanced to make a BIG difference. Its why Alakazam is so powerful because it has a LOT of focus on its special attack, which a lot of pokemon don't have special defense.

As a water pokemon its supposed to down pokemon that are rock and fire basically, which both typically tend to have strong defense, especially rock. SO regular attack will not help you defeat them. Now when it comes to fighting other water pokemon it has an advantage because of its higher attack, but thats not often to happen.

Dude, my absolute favorite pokemons is, by far, Sandshrew. It broke my heart when he evolved, so in pokemon Gold I totally prevented him from evolving, so he was a level 40 fuckin sandshrew who could kill you instantaniously by just lookin at you :3

But unfortunately, any repeaat of Red and Blue would just nerf the game. I meanh, the game's hard for a Pokemon game yeah? They'd just dum it down igf they remade it. I mean FireRed and LeafGreen were a joke!

In Red and Blue there were only a certain amount of trainers before you HAD to go train in Victory ROad. But now they have it so you can fight trainers again, and in FireRed and LeafGreen there were a series of islands filled with more items and trainers to buff up your Pokemon.

Anything short of it now would send the community into rage

I didn't find more trainers or anything in my playthroughs of Leaf Green. Only a handful of doubles battles that weren't in the original, but not much.

As for getting less xp from wild Pokemon? Made fighting Ghastlys and Zubats even more boring and frustrating.

This is why i turned to an emulator

When the training gets tough I bust out my space bar. Got all my dudes to 30 in Diglett's Tunnel in like 15 minutes from that haha
