I don't come across too many bad games in my profession lol but occasionally i bump into one. It doesn't have to be any specific reason, could be that the story was gay, it was retardedly difficult, the control was terrible, or it just sucked out loud in all departments. Recently for me I was excited for Prototyped, like PUMPED, i bought it release day i had that much confidence in it. Starting off it was pretty sweet, storyline was cool, killing gaurds and shit, fun times, but as i got more powerful and faster it seemed like the controls and camera couldnt keep up with me. I would constantly get camera fucked and fall off a building, but my biggest concern was how difficult the game became in an instant. I beat the game and i didnt think it was terrible but i hadnt been that frustrated with a game since COD 4 on veteran mode. I spent 60 bucks on a game to me was only worth 30. I also really hated guitar hero world tour, so much in fact that i dont play any guitar hero at all anymore, just rock band.
Oy…worst game. I don't typically get anything unless I'm reaaaally sure that I'll enjoy it (or I'll get it because it's terrible, but for specific reasons.)
I think the only major disappointment I've had as of late was Left4Dead. I won't bother going on about why, since we have a topic for it (just go hunt it down, I'm closer to the end). But that's all I can think of off hand, really.
Prototype was the biggest disappointment for me of the year. I had been pumped for it all week, heard great things from people who played it, and no reviews were out. I then bought it. I loved the first level of it, where it's a flash forward and you're an unstoppable powerhouse. After that, it all went downhill. What a shit game. I ended up trading it in for 30 dollars and making 40 dollars off a Flash parody I made for it, so I can't complain too much. I won't call it worst game ever though, as it's just a bad game.
As for worst game ever? I proudly own all 3 Burger King games. Check and mate.

Welcome to every MMO ever. That's one reason I'm not a fan of most games in the genre – skill grinding just gets boring. It's why I liked Planetside – someone who just bought the game could concievably kill someone who's been playing since release if they're good enough. An FPS where levels up let you use cooler newer equipment. You don't mind grinding when it's the core feature of the game, and even then it's a solid FPS.

Idk man I've heard some pretty terrible things about Aquaman… which of course makes a lot of games seem like some big name hit in comparison to itself.
