The RPG? I can't hit poop with that thing. The rocket flies off in a random direction when I shoot it.

Well you have to use it at medium range, that way youre in danger of killing yourself and you dont miss.
Mebbe I just like to be suicidal sometimes hahaha.

There's a challenge for getting a double kill with it that I've tried my damnedest for, but it just ain't happening.
Also, playing the ludicrously arcade-y mode is pretty hilarious. The physics are amped up and the movement speed/jump height is cranked up a bit. I like it once in a great while.

Hmmm I've never tried arcade mode. If I get to move inhumanely, it could be a fun experience.
Also, try to get your RPG double kill in vacant… trust me.

Haha. The RPG and me are pretty tight
I usually keep that as my perk unless I need Claymores for Sniping or Bandolier for a submachine gun.
God when I start a new prestige thats practically my main weapon haha

I still don't see the point in starting a new prestige class. I've got a solid gold AK-47; I don't need to go level grinding again just to get a lower level paintjob on it.

Well for the record I planned on never prestiging again after the first time but my roommate wanted to earn things lol
Hell if it was up to me I wouldn't have prestiged at all; I had an M60 Saw (I think that's what it was called I know it was a LMG) with Red Tiger Camo. It hard to nail a guy in the head with one of those abbies, let alone do it 150 times =O
People respected teh paint.

The SAW and the M60 are two different LMGs, along with the RPD which is a Russian equivalent.
Try getting 150 headshots with an AK-47. I fucking dare you. That thing is a bullet hose and I managed to get 150 headshot kills with it and every other assault rifle to earn that gold plating. Also, getting 150 headshots with the G3 sucks twice as hard. I had the extra damage perk, shot a guy in the temple at point blank range, and he did not die. He didn't have juggernaut, the gun just sucks so hard that it's a semi-auto that doesn't even do high damage. Hell, doesn't do medium damage.

If you want your G3 headshots or kills, the G3 and the M14 kill in one hit with stopping power on. Now, while I never play hardcore, I would assume that's the best way to get those.
And fuck man, even after I got my carbine red tiger I still didnt stop using it. I am just one with that gun… the things me and it do together are beautiful. Second choice would be the Skorpion, just because it has ALSO landed me some great shit.
I mean FUCK I emptied it AND an LMG for my 20 kill streak on vacant. 'Twas amazing.

The Skorpion was nicknamed “The Honkie-Killer” by myself and a friend of mine. Of course it had to have desert camo and an ACOG scope too.
I didn't really play hardcore because everyone in there is ridiculously good. Like, ridiculously good. I played a few rounds last month and I usually ended up with a 3/15 k/d ratio. Was awful.

I'm ridiculously good and I can tell you hardcore mode is kinda lame. SUPPOSEDLY it's supposed to be harder but it isn't. Your guns are so powerful that stoppping power is a useless perk since they die easy. Silencers are useless since there's no radar. Double tap is useless since you kill so easily. Bandolier is so useless cause well… you kill so easily. Juggernaut is useless because it won't make much of a difference in your health.
In essence, the majority of the perks are quite useless… those mentioned above in addition to the normallly. (basically) useless perks (dead silence, eavesdrop, etc) It's also less fun due to the huge amount of team killing that takes place.

The thing that makes it harder is that you die just as easily. It just wasn't fun when I played since I got owned constantly.
It was like playing Gears 1 multiplayer. Just fucking impossible, since everyone is better than you nomatter what.

Well I cant sympathize with you on that (since Ive never played Gears in general) but also since I happen to be the person who is on top, sexually LOL, in Call of Duty. But I understand obviously. Especially with hardcore mode and all the crap associated with that.

If you haven't played Gears I strongly suggest you do. It's a load of fun.
I read about Modern Warfare 2 in Game Informer this month. Seems real cool. They're getting rid of infinitely spawning bad guys, and it has a plot that follows CoD4. Also has a co-op mode that's centered around missions like Mile High Club that should promise to be awesome. They wanted to do the whole game co-op, but honestly, CoD doesn't work in co-op. Think of the nuke going off or the opening execution sequence from CoD4 – just wouldn't work with a second player.

The problem is that in Hardcore mode, its basically a camping game, most games NEVER go to 750 points, they mostly just end at the timer. So yeah…. its less fun because its just sniping, and camping.

I agree, I've been looking forward to the game since it came out… and the only real way for a second player to be useful is if…
… I've got nothing. Having a second player there all the time is kind of like Halo 3, it just becomes annoying if your a single player and you see the arbiter run off somewhere. Besides, I enjoy doing things by myself. The gadgets in MW2 are wicked awesome

Thing is, I love games where you have a team of moderately to very expendable folks following you around, like Call of Duty games. What I don't like is that in something like Halo 3, you have an ever present “player 2″ just following you around, who cannot die, and is merely there to break any sense of immersion you may be getting. I loved both Gears games, but I was really disappointed when a game called “Gears of War” (a reference to the faceless hordes of men who die in the metaphorical machine) was instead about you and 3 other musclebound man-mountains who had skin made of kevlar. Still a great game, just not what I was initially expecting.
I also prefer doing things by myself. It's why I don't play a whole hell of a lot of multiplayer in most games. It's also a deciding factor behind Fallout 3 being my favorite game since October last year.

Indeed, another unimmersive thing was in battlefield bad company, where you had 3 other members who couldnt die despite being shot at by ruskies non stop. Its madness. (madness? this is sparta)
anyway, most of the time in COD4 i'd run ahead without my squad mates to clear out a building with a shotgun or somesuch. It was far from my invincible one-man army against the nazi hoard. It was me doing my own thing, but being supported by allies…. they cant die, but throughout the story they do die, so you never get that invincible vibe from them.
I sorta lost track of what we were talking about…
Oh yeah, I'm excited for MW2, but I seriously hope there's no 2 player co-op. its not needed. What I hope for is a secondary campaign, like the epilogue in COD4.

Well, the secondary optionally 2 player co-op mode is supposed to be it's own mini-campaign. Resistance 2 did this on the PS3 last year.
Bad Company… really disappointed with that one. I hated that not only was your squad invincible – they didn't shoot the enemy. I can not recall a single time where they killed an enemy. They just sit there looking stupid while every enemy in the game shoots me. It had ludicrously unfair targeting where the CPUs all targeted the player and not the team. CoD4 only did that when you were playing on Veteran, which is masochistic anyway.
You know, if Bad Company had co-op the campaign might be bearable.
