Hah, Steam and WoW.
Those are things that I think the world would be better without.
Steam just makes it harder for me to play Dawn of War II and WoW is something I've avoided entirely. I tried to get a trial, but it turned down my dad's credit card and I took it as a sign.

Well, I had all the Half Life Orange Box stuff on my Xbox 360 so I have no real reason to use Steam for it…
I prefer games that work the old way, where you put the disc in and it goes whir.

Apparently the other day somebody was telling me abou thtis new system that doesn't use any like Cartridge or CD and I flat out told them it was just retarded haha
It doesn't feel right not actually owning the game you know?

I agree, I like having concrete, physical evidence of owning a game. I like box art and manuals a lot, and would really miss them if they were gone.

I would feel utterly lost without a CD or console and games hahaha.
Btw Batto, you dont need a credit card for a trial account, you might have clicked on a wrong item and were about to bind an account to a credit card. Devin made like 3 different trial accounts so we could get the Refer a Friend to work right.

That was a while ago, and it was to track your character so you could continue on with him/her if you wanted to keep playing after the trial. They might have changed it, but I followed the instructions on everything.
Either way, I'm staying the hell away from WoW.
