I think the good writers might have just left the show for something better. Different producer and different director of animation. I liked the show under Derek Drymon a lot more than Tibbitt, who is the current guy.

The voice cast is excellent as ever, unfortunately their talent is squandered under the bad scripts.

That whole part with them "beating" the one guy, using their fists and bats, and the things it implied were just offensive. I was talking to Rik at the time and that's basically when we both became pretty repulsed by it.

I thought the rest of the scene with him getting genes injected was funny though, namely the Seth Rogen gene. The rest of the episode was awful though.

Ugh the last new one I saw was featuring Peter going gay because of an experimental drug.

Not only was it boring, but it was kinda rude too. I saw it with my roomie and he was like, listen Matt I've been around sure, but I'm never going to have sex with 11 guys at once. Nothing beats the intimacy of a 1 one 1 experience."

He's kinda right too. That's some multitasking you'd have to do lol

The newer Simpsons episodes are actually better than the Family Guy ones.

More recent Family Guy episodes suck because there's no plot anymore. It's just a string of events that are "wacky" and generally unfunny. More recent ones haven't even really been telling jokes and have just basically been trying to get an outraged reaction from people. That and it's nothing but pop culture references. A parody is not referring to a piece, but actually taking it and doing something entertaining with it.

Im.... sorry... I cant get the image of Jesus putting on Berry White music and going "Ayyyy" (like the Fonz) just as the lights cut out for a brief second. The lights cut back on, except dimmer now and he's in the same exact position (with one raised eyebrows and a stance which is all too similar to the "Buddy Jesus" from Dogma), except he's in a loosley tied up robe, and there are now several lit candles in the room and a heart shaped bed.

As impressive as that all is, I'm very scared that I can imagine it.

*douses eyes with holy water*

One should not think about Jesus that way.... -_-

My roomie went to school with nuns ( he hates catholicism afterwards too go figure) but one of his professors LITERALLY wanted to have sex with Jesus in the afterlifehence why she was saving herself.

I used the bus stuff here on campus once, and that was after fencing practice.

As tired as I am after we practice, that one time it happened to be chock full of christians and they tried to convert me because they saw my jesus piece.
