SRM: Return of SRM Clock
September 11th, 2009Well, this was a long time coming. This is a sequel to the original SRMClock, which came out about 2 and a half years ago. I wrote this about a year and a half ago and I’ve been wanting to make it, but got distracted with SRM Transformers.
SRM’s nemesis returns, kidnapping his Cousin Mel. Can SRM stop him? Will Ray Romano ever advance in society? Why am I asking you all these questions?
This is decent sized toon and clocks in around 3 minutes. Longer than the recent bunch of shorts I’ve been churning out. Anyway, hope you guys like it, and please review! I respond to all of them
SRM: The Last Soda
August 9th, 2009This was my 3rd semester animation final. I made it with my friend Kevin Basset, but he doesn’t have a Newgrounds page and said it was just fine to submit it. Our task was to create a flash with each of our original characters and have them interact. Also had to have a Photoshop background, which is the sky in this flash. Backgrounds are mostly done by him; some are mine with his Photoshop sky in the background. I did the audio and the second half of the animation, he did some background work and the first half. Guitar music is by my roommate.
Anyway, here’s hoping you guys like it! Wish me luck on getting a good grade
[Prototype]
August 8th, 2009This is a parody of the game [Prototype] that came out a few months ago. It was done over the course of a week, and is in a very similar style to my GTA IV parody from a year or so ago. There’s a few jokes in here that only people who play the game will get, but I think that there’s still enough general humor to keep people entertained.
L’Amour de Rasputin
August 7th, 2009This cartoon was made for a surrealism class as my final. In other words, if you don’t get this, it’s probably doing it’s job. I made a lot of effort to make it look and feel as much like a surrealist film from the 1920’s, right down to the art deco-esque fonts, grainy film, awkward cuts and authentic music.
The biggest influences on this were Salvador Dali’s “Un Chien Andalou” and my own previous attempt at this style, “The Death of Mini Rasputin”. This serves as a spiritual successor to my previous Rasputin flash that nobody saw. All in all, this is a parody, but serves well enough as an honest jab at the surrealism game. In case you were wondering, yes, the music was heard in “The People’s Mario”. That’s where I heard it and figured it would fit perfectly with my surrealist vision.
I wrote this during a surrealism class and animated it over the course of a few hours. As a result, it’s rather short, like a lot of the flashes I’ve been making lately. I promise I’ll get back to the big epic length ones before too long. It’s just more relaxing to make short films.
SRM Short: Haircut
June 18th, 2009I lost a bet to a friend of mine. The bet was that if he held up his end of it, I would have to cave to fan request and make a flash based on the ideas of some of my fans. For some reason, many of my fans (IE – more than one, closer to two) suggested I make a flash where SRM gets a haircut. As some people seem to realize, SRM has no hair and is more or less a blue brick. I managed to write a short flash though, and I hope you guys enjoy it. This is also one of my first flashes exhibiting an upgraded set of characters that I’m using.
Meet the Cliffjumper
May 30th, 2009I somehow started seeing the Team Fortress 2 “Meet the…” videos, and I thought their format would be a good fit for Cliffjumper, probably the suckiest character in my SRM Transformers flashes and, well, Transformers in general.
Huge help from Xander 1062 on this one, as he helped a lot with the concept, sound and script, and managed to get some video files for me.
Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this. Add to the Transformers and Half-Life collections. I respond to all reviews!
DISCLAIMER – The views of Cliffjumper do not reflect my own. I have never been to 4chan, never will, and I’ve only played Team Fortress 2 like, once.
W40k Dawn of Awesome
May 16th, 2009After being disappointed with how Explode Harder was received here on Newgrounds, I made this over the course of a few hours. I’m not expecting anything great; it’s just something I threw together for fellow Warhammer 40k fans.
For those wondering, this is based on one of the worst voice acting performances it has ever been my pleasure to laugh at. In Warhammer 40,000, Dawn of War: Soulstorm, the Space Marine commander has this atrocious voice actor. I ripped the audio from his scene in the game and put it to appropriately crude animation. This is also somewhat inspired by ZekeySpaceLizard’s Mega Awesome series more than Egoraptor’s actual Awesome animations.
If you have played Soulstorm, you know what I’m talking about.
Anyway, hope you enjoy this. It’s stupid, it’s silly, and that’s why I made it. Once in a while it’s okay for a good author to make a little spam.
Eplosion Force 5 II: EXPLODE HARDER
May 15th, 2009Just when you thought the Explosion Force 5 couldn’t explode any harder, they EXPLODE HARDER.
Starring:
SRM as Brick Benchpress
Cousin Mel as Granite Stone
Jethro Jebediah as the Commissioner
Jebediah as thug #1
Greg the Llama as Llama the Greg
Featuring a soundtrack by Gorgorothx and Lukania of the Newgrounds Audio Portal
In this Summer’s biggest blockbuster:
EXPLOSION FORCE FIVE 2: EXPLODE HARDER
PS: You might have to set it to low quality. There’s a shot that makes my computer lag like hell, and I’m sure it’ll do the same to yours.

You'll be seeing this on the streets, soon.
SRM Transformers 4: Part 2
May 3rd, 2009I’ve been working on this flash on and off for the last few months. Countless computer setbacks kept me from finishing this until my brief Summer vacation, where I actually managed to finish it. I wrote this script back at the same time as SRM Transformers 4, and the two were initially meant to be one big flash. However, that didn’t really come together, as sound issues frustrated the hell out of me. Some issues came back, and I did my best to beat them back, but there’s a few glitches here and there.
So here it is, SRM Transformers 4 Part 2. Want to give some thanks to my great voice actors and Xander1062, my audio engineer.
A 5th SRM Transformers flash has been written, dunno when/if I’ll get to it.
Anyway, hope you enjoy it!

A Day In The Life of Cthulhu
April 15th, 2009I made this for an HP Lovecraft class as my final. My teacher has a strange sense of humor so I’m guessing I’ll get a decent grade.
I decided to stay up working on this through 4:30 in the morning. I realized it was a little short, so in a sleep deprived, caffeine fueled stupor, I created an extended ending.
Lots of HP Lovecraft references if you keep your eyes peeled. The three of you who searched for “Cthulhu” and found this may or may not be entertained.
